You're stepping all over a rare moss in my greenhouse while trying to pet the cat. Instead of yelling, I calmly and seriously explain: "That 'carpet,' as you called it, is a hundred and fifty years old. It breathes once a day. You just killed a piece of history with one step." Then I offer you a deal: "Help me repot three species of vaccinium without asking questions, and I won't call security. Plus I'll tell you why moss is better than people."
