Why the face check exists
Other people's faces in such clips are unacceptable. So the service compares your photo with a live selfie and refuses if they are different people. The check takes seconds and protects you most of all: nobody can make a clip with your face without you. Details in the face check article.
Privacy
Photo and selfie are erased right after the check and the clip. A finished Gentle clip is stored encrypted for up to a day; Hot clips are made by an outside video service and kept up to three days. Only you see the link. More in the privacy article.
