The smell of old paper and dust mixed with something sharp, masculine. Lera stood between the shelves, clutching a worn volume of poetry, and felt goosebumps race down her spine. Sergei, her husband's best friend, was too close. His shoulder nearly brushed hers as he reached for a book on the top shelf, and she could see the muscles rolling beneath the cotton of his t-shirt.

"So, find it?" His voice was low, gravelly, and the sound made her knees go weak.

"Yeah..." she breathed out, not recognizing her own voice. "This one."

He didn't pull away. Instead, his fingers closed around her wrist, over the book, and slowly traced the inside of her arm. Lera froze. Her heart was pounding somewhere in her throat. She knew they were alone in this old library, but the door wasn't locked, and anyone could walk in at any moment—including her husband, who was still downstairs flipping through old newspapers.

"You're trembling," he noted, something dark and dangerous flickering in his eyes.

"It's just... it's cold," she lied.

He smirked, and that smirk turned her insides upside down. Without a word, he stepped forward, forcing her to back up until her spine hit the heavy oak shelf. The books behind her swayed but didn't fall. Sergei loomed over her, and she could feel the heat of his body even through the thin fabric of her dress.

"Seryozha..." she whispered, trying to find a shred of common sense. "We shouldn't..."

"Shouldn't is the sweetest thing," he replied, tracing a finger along her neck, from her ear to her collarbone. "Tell me you don't want this. Say it, and I'll step back."

She looked up at him. There was so much desire swimming in his eyes that it stole her breath. She stayed silent. And then he leaned in and kissed her.

It wasn't a gentle kiss. It was hunger, desperation, and months of silent tension spilling out in a single motion. His tongue invaded her mouth, and she responded, biting his lower lip, hearing his low groan. Her hands slid under his t-shirt on their own, feeling his hot, smooth skin, and Sergei breathed against her lips:

"God, Lera... I've wanted this for so long..."

She didn't answer—she just pressed herself even closer, feeling his hard cock pressing against her thigh. Outside, footsteps echoed past the window, and they both froze, listening. But the footsteps faded, and Sergei, gripping her ass, lifted her, making her wrap her legs around his waist.

"No... not here," she breathed, but her body had already stopped listening to reason. "Someone could walk in..."

"Let them," he rasped, lowering her onto an old leather chair in the corner. "Let them see how much I want you."

He dropped to his knees in front of her, spread her legs, and his hands slid up her thighs, pushing up the hem of her dress. She bit her lip as his fingers found the edge of her panties—thin lace she'd put on that morning, not knowing who it would be for.

"So wet..." he whispered, running a finger over the damp fabric. "Is this all for me?"

Lera arched back, throwing her head against the chair, and gripped the armrests. His breath burned through the thin lace, and his finger slowly, agonizingly slowly, pushed the fabric aside.

"Yes..." she exhaled. "Only for you."

He pulled her panties down, over her legs, and she heard his low, approving groan. Then his mouth was on her—hot, demanding, and she forgot how to breathe. His tongue slid over her clit, teasing and caressing, and Lera dug her fingers into his hair, pulling him closer, whispering:

"Oh, fuck... yes... just like that... don't stop..."

He didn't stop. He licked her, sucked her, pushed his fingers inside her, while she writhed on the old chair, trying not to moan too loud. Somewhere downstairs a door creaked, and she froze, biting her knuckles, but Sergei just grinned and picked up the pace, driving her to the edge.

"Someone's about to walk in," he whispered, pulling back for a second. "And they'll see you come on my tongue."

That was the last straw. Lera came with a quiet, strangled cry, clamping her thighs around his head, feeling the wave of pleasure roll through her entire body, from her toes to the top of her head. And when her pulse started to settle, she pulled him up, making him stand, and unbuttoned his jeans.

"My turn now," she said, dropping to her knees in front of him.

He was hard, hot, and when her lips closed around him, Sergei exhaled through his teeth and braced his hand against the shelf. The books swayed again, but none fell. Lera took him deep, as deep as she could, feeling his fingers in her hair, hearing his ragged breathing.

"Lera..." he groaned. "I'm gonna..."

But she didn't stop. She wanted him to come in her mouth, wanted to taste him, and when he froze, arching, and spilled down her throat with a guttural moan, she swallowed every last drop. He slid down the shelf, pulling her into his arms, kissing her sweat-salted lips, and whispered:

"We've completely lost our minds. Right here..."

"Right here," she confirmed, licking her lips. "And I want more."

He grinned, stood up, and turned her to face the shelf, bending her forward. She braced her palms against the books, and he entered her from behind—one sharp, deep thrust. Lera moaned, pressing her forehead against the spines of old volumes, feeling him fill her completely.

"Quiet..." he whispered, leaning down to her ear while his hips moved in a slow, drawn-out rhythm. "Or they'll hear."

She bit her lip until it hurt, but muffled moans still escaped her throat. Sergei sped up, his hands gripping her hips, and she felt a tight knot coiling low in her belly again.

"Yes..." she breathed. "Like that... deeper..."

He drove into her faster, harder, and the old shelf creaked in time with his movements. Nearby, in the next room, voices drifted in—and knowing they could be caught at any moment pushed them both over the edge. Lera came a second time, silently, biting her hand, while Sergei, burying his face in her neck, spilled inside her with a low, hoarse groan.

They stood there, breathing hard, pressed together among the dusty books. Lera felt his heart hammering against her back and smiled.

"We need to... pull ourselves together," she whispered.

"We do," he agreed, kissing her shoulder.

In the morning, they sat in a small café across from the library. Lera warmed her hands around a coffee cup and watched Sergei read the menu, pretending nothing had happened. But when he looked up and caught her gaze, the corner of his mouth twitched in a barely perceptible smile. And she knew this secret would stay with them forever.
